Events
Flounder whispers between the years
From December 28th to 31st from 3 p.m., the Hohwachter Seebrücke will be the place-to-be for everyone who likes a good mood and tasty treats! The Flounderbar, the Baltic Sea Bar and the Ankeracht and much more. present a tempting selection of delicacies, including mulled wine variations, apple punch, fine wines, beer as well as hearty bratwurst and game sausage. Fries and vegan waffles round off the offering. A musical program with live performances ensures the rest of your well-being.
This is tradition: bathing on January 1st.
Bathing is for everyone! This is how you start the new year in a truly northern German way. And in a group it's only half as bad... The meeting point is at 12:00 p.m. at Strandstraße 16, in front of the bistro "Kiek in de See".
Beach lights & torchlight hike on New Year's Day
The meeting point is the Hotel Seelust in Alt-Hohwacht at 4:30 p.m. Together we walk along the cliffs towards Flounder. DJ Stefan Böttcher from Kiel will provide the perfect vibe from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. You can now buy torches in Hohwachter Bucht Touristik or on January 1st. sold at the starting point to brighten the night with an enchanting display of lights.
